We have celebrated a Day of Languages at school and Elephant class shared different activities with other children in school. We had face paints and tried some typical German food. We also tried this website and learned some Chinese Words !

ReplyDeleteWe learn about different languages at Dawson too. In our class we have people who speak Maori, tongan, Samoan, Nuiean and English. How many different languages do you speak in your classroom?

ReplyDeleteI our class we speak - Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Polish, Latvian and Lingala (Congo). Mrs Porter teaches us German colours and numbers and fruits.
Rot is Red and Gelb is Yellow, eins, zwei, drei is one two three and Birne means Pear !
